Feast : The Presentation
On February 2, we observe the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, honoring Jesus Christ’s presentation in the Temple when he was a young child. It is a combined feast, commemorating the Jewish practice of the purification of the mother after childbirth and the presentation of the child to God in the Temple to perform the redemption of the firstborn son, in obedience to the Torah (Leviticus 12, Exodus 13:12–15, etc.).

Fiesta : La Presentación
El 2 de febrero observamos la Fiesta de la Presentación del Señor, en honor a la presentación de Jesucristo en el Templo cuando era un niño pequeño. Es una fiesta combinada, que conmemora la práctica judía de la purificación de la madre después del parto y la presentación del niño a Dios en el Templo para realizar la redención del hijo primogénito, en obediencia a la Torá ( Levítico 12, Éxodo 13: 12–15, ETC.).
