Do you know enough about our Catholic Faith? Would you like to know more?
We have extended this series of classes on the Catechism of the Catholic Church and are offering it every Tuesday during the month of August. Discover what Catholicism means and how to live as an authentic Catholic in an increasingly non-Christian culture.
Catholicism through the Catechism
Tuesday evenings during August 2022
7:00-8:30 p.m. (via Zoom)
About the Class
The 1995 published Catechism of the Catholic Church is the most accurate and easy-to-read summary of the last 2000 years of Catholic tradition. It includes many references to the other two master documents of the Church: Scripture and the Magisterium.
The class will be led by Jim, serving as a facilitator, to guide the discussion of the group towards the common goal of understanding the Catholic Faith as put forth in the Catechism. All those who attend will be able to contribute to the discussion with comments or questions. Jim’s primary goal will be to keep us solidly attached to the truths of the Catholic Faith contained in the doctrine and the dogma.
For extra clarity, 30-minute videos from sources, such as Bishop Robert Baron’s “Word on Fire,” will be used.
